See productPainfree Spray — numbing during the session
Once the skin is broken, the cream can no longer penetrate the tissue. This is where Painfree Spray 10% takes over: it is sprayed directly onto the open wound during the tattoo session, works almost instantly, and extends the numbing effect without affecting ink absorption or the final colour result.
The spray is particularly popular among tattoo artists because it can be applied as needed throughout the session, making long sessions much more bearable for the client.
Aftercare — take care of your new tattoo
A new tattoo is essentially an open wound — and how you care for it during the first 2 weeks has a major impact on the final result. With good aftercare, you preserve the colours, avoid infection, and promote healing.
Four good tips for aftercare
- Avoid direct sunlight on the new tattoo.
- Gently wash the tattoo twice daily.
- Regularly apply aftercare gel to the healing wound.
- Do not pick or scratch the wound when it starts to peel.
After about 10–14 days, the tattoo typically starts to itch. This is a good sign — but aftercare is still important here: a thin layer of Painfree Gel 7% soothes the itch, keeps the skin moist, and prevents scarring that could otherwise ruin the final design.
How to use Painfree step by step
- Clean the skin thoroughly before application — free of grease, cream, and dirt.
- Apply a thick layer of Painfree Cream or Extreme to the area.
- Cover with plastic wrap and let the cream work for 45–90 minutes.
- Remove the cream just before the tattoo session begins — the skin should be completely dry.
- Use Painfree Spray continuously during the session to extend the numbing effect.
- Apply Painfree Gel 2–3 times daily for 2 weeks after for optimal healing.
